Raw Materials
Our raw material inventory is what makes our products so unique and distinctive. We showcase the world's largest collection of antique wood, Spanish Colonial doors and Mexican doors, columns and corbels from the Swat Valley in Northern Pakistan, teak and pine doors from India and as well as material from Morocco, China and North Africa on our two-acre location in Santa Fe, New Mexico. You'll find more than 6,000 carved and antique doors, old cabinets, rustic chests, architectural columns and corbels that date from the 18th through early 20th centuries and come from over 14 countries.

The vast majority of our woods have been salvaged from countries where old wood is often burned or discarded and have no historical preservation efforts.

Most custom projects include a combination of woods - a door from India, a frame made of Idaho bridge timbers, and a threshold fashioned from reclaimed barn wood. Since antique wood has lost moisture naturally over time, it's more stable than new woods and is typically more durable.

Our wood treasures include:
  • Mexican doors made from 500-year old mesquite trees
  • Spanish Colonial doors from Mexico and Central America
  • Classic and traditional doors from northern New Mexico adobe homes
  • Carved corbels and columns from India and the SWAT Valley in Northern Pakistan
  • Colonial teak doors and cabinet fronts from India and Pakistan
  • Old-growth, reclaimed bridge timbers from Idaho, Utah and California
  • Dugout Boats from the San Blas de Cuna Islands in Panama
  • Antique sugar cane gears from Amazon in Brazil
  • Double Adobe width window frames from Northern New Mexico

We also stock antique door hardware and glass:

  • Aesthetic antique door hardware elements such as antique Escutcheons,
    L-straps, Clavos and pull rings.
  • Stained glass treasures from old cathedrals and churches
